Q&A: What inoact does the Arrival DLC have on Mass Effect 3?

I finished Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 and started Mass Effect 3. Then I realized that I did not have the DLC Arrival. I’ve already put about five hours into ME3, so I was wondering what effect, if anything, the Arrival DLC has on ME3 if completion is imported with a character?
